What is your instrument

How many here are music students and what is your chosen instrument. How advanced are you?

I'm no longer a "music student", but I am still studying music as an active professional classical organist. I have been playing in the Lutheran (ELCA) church ever since 1961 and I've held my current church position since 1982 playing on a ll/9 Moller pipe organ in a church that seats 350.

I'm only "advanced" in age ... :crazy:.

I think one is always a student in the vast field of Music. I am retired and main instrument is Organ,piano next in my relaxed spare time now.

Will always be a student, for the more I learn the more I realise I don't know. :crazy: As for instruments - are there others apart from pipe organs? :lol:

well maybe my virtual pipe organ which is very real sounding... at least I can play like I am there playing the instruments.

True, we must never give up learning it is a continuous process of development. Even until a ripe old age .

I have never given up learning the classical organ. I have a small Johannus with some extras (see my avatar) and practice an hour or more each day My wife calls my organ my mistress because I love music so much. I will be 75 next month, and we will have been married 50 years the month after that. There is no excuse for not learning. I have two pieces I am working on for a wedding at the beginning of July; music was selected by the couple and the priest and I had never learned either of them well enough to play in public
