What is your favorite fruit or veggie?

What is your favorite of all the fruit and veggies. Mine happen to be
the potato and for the fruit I will have to say all of them. My other
is the veggie that is a fruit and that's the tomato. This is also the
continuation of what is your favorite drink and what is your favorite
candy. Just let me know what you think.

Honestly from the bottom of my heart (read belly) apples (better = apple pie), strawberries (with cold milk and suger), carrots and hazzle nuts to break between the fingers for real men !!

I love pretty much all fruits and most of the vegetable.

by the way, scientifically speaking - isnt tomato a fruit?!?

You're right. The tomato is a fruit that is considered by some a
vegetable. Tomatoes are known to have something in them to
fight cancer. That's good. Cucumbers are eaten a lot especially
when you eat one as a pickle.

The pink tomato picked from the garden in August IS a fruit. The packaged tomatoes people buy at the grocery store, any month, are vegetables.

ahh, its all coming together now...although in my experience, the packaged tomatoes people buy at the grocery store are more like ....crap? than vegetables

Fav fruits: papaya, strawberry, banana, peach, apricot.
Fav veggies: cauliflower, broccoli, Romaine lettuce in a nice salad.

I also like mushrooms, cucumbers, sweet bell peppers, and for fruit,
all of them. The only thing I don't like are hot peppers like the
jalapano, the cayane, and habenero or scotch bonnet which is the
other name. There are some types of fruits and veggies that we
don't get that's tropical like cactus type veggies unless I go and
get tequila. That's one alcholic drink I hate.

Well, you wouldn't like Arizona then ... we cook with all those here and if prepared right, they don't burn ones lips off their face, but will make ones ears glow bright red. :devil:

Tequila? That's second rate mouthwash around here :nut:

Anaheim Chili's are very mild by comparison ... I use those when I make Gazpacho Soup, a soup that is always served chilled.

You are right about that. I was fixing a stirfry with different kinds
of veggies and peppers. If you take out what makes the jalepino
hot, they are very tasty with the bells and banana peppers.
Cayanes on the other are still hot little firecrackers when you
do that to them.

I also like red cabbage, and for salad, Rocket, Raddichio and beetroot.

No one has ever mentioned pop corn. This snack is as good as it is
nutricious and fun. The problem with it you have to pick out the
hulls for three days in a row. I've had it cheesed,salted,buttered,
carmeled, cracker jacks, and kettle popped.
