What is your favorite drink?

Where I live my county just went wet. Otherwords, the voting resulted in
Madisonville to be able to sell beer and booze. So what is your all time
favorite drink. Mine happens to be coffee because you can use it in just
about everything. Especially ice cream or in a Latte. Give me your ideas. I'm drinking coffee now!

Hi Judy

Yes I like coffee too, also a nice cup of tea.

But, if I go out somewhere I do enjoy a Gin and Tonic.

My favorite food? Gravlax with dill-stewed potatoes in a thick bechamel sauce.
Lightly broiled Moonfish.
Anything Italian.
Anything Greek.
Anything Korean.

Dessert? Fresh fruits like Watermelon, Durian, Mango, Papaya, Lychee, Dragonfruit, Starfruit, Bananas, Tangelos, and Breadfruit pie. Oh yeah, Strawberry and Rhubarb pie, Apricot pie, Peach pie, and Apple Pie.

It looks to me like my two new threads are a hit! I'm glad you guys like
them. "What is your favorite drink" and the other one. I'm still looking
for an answer on the thread on Gospel music.

Favourite drink as an addiction at work - Coffee 24/7 with no sugar or cream. Very cold tap water with three big ice cubes 24/7 when not at work post midday.

Soft drinks - A Danish Water with three big ice cubes, Coca Cola with ice cubes (when I still had my own teeth) or orange/apple juice.

In the alcohol department - 18 years old Laphroig Whiskey at room temperature aprox. 68 F, with no ice or water (that´s for chickens). Pink Champagne.

Finally for a traditional Danish lunch - come Easter in next week. A slice of black bread with Danish butter and herrings with curry salad on top and onion rings + a cold Danish Tuborg Beer and a very cold Danish Snaps (Rød Aalborg).

What more does a man need???

Coffee is definitely good. Also like soda(Dr. Pepper especially).

Wine would have to be my favorite alcoholic drink for taste, but Jack Daniels tops the list for drinking with a cause! ;)

Johnie Walker with/without Coca-cola. Depending on my actual mood.
A glass of cool beer, when temperature outside reaches 30°C or more...
Vodka, solo or with some juice.

A cup of coffee with milk and sugar
Some kind of flavored tea (citron, rapsberry, peppermint or else)
Juices: in general orange juice but other flavors work for me as well

I like Coca Cola, Dr. Pepper, and root beer for a soft drink. As for a mixed
drink I like to take root bear and put a scoop of ice cream in it for a float.
As for something in the alchohol dep. I like a small glass of wine once in
a while with cheese and gourmet crackers.

Judy, This just hit me today when I re-read your initial post - I thought prohibition was repealed years ago ... there were local laws in your county that prohibited all sales of alcoholic beverages??? Whoa, Nelly!! Even the state of Utah has always sold liquor, albeit on "their terms", but it was always available from state run stores.

When in history did your county go dry?

My county went dry I think during the 50's. I don't really know but I think
it was to use as a trap if you ask me.

Oh Master Krummhorn, you slay me...:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

Apropos my favorite drink: A snifter of Laphroiag Single Malt Scotch Whiskey helps me call it a day.

I drink a lot of fruit juice. I like orange juice etc., but now it's said that too much citrus wears tooth enamel away. It's hard to eat/drink healthy!

Guess I'll stick with apple and grape j. mostly... I like some of the juice blends they have now.

Booze-wise, it's a nice glass of red wine. Occasionally white. And I'm partial to a glass of Vermouth on the rocks sometimes.

Great, now I'm thristy. lol!

Dear Intet,

Dr. Pepper is a vile brew - Corn Syrup, caramel coloring, fizzy pop-pop, and some other "proprietary" ingredients which are not disclosed by the makers of Dr. Pepper.

:whistle::whistle::whistle::nut::nut::nut::shake::shake::shake::smirk::smirk::smirk::crazy::crazy::crazy:;););)

Cheers,

CD :tiphat::tiphat::tiphat:

ps. Dr. Pepper is a great solvent for removing stubborn stains on the Magnesium Alloy rims of my Mazda Rx-8.:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

I knew you would embrase me with a fast clear to the point answer on the question towards: Doctor Pepper. It remove stains from you Mazda, I see!!

Does it have a Notice proclaimation on it: At your own risk???:grin::grin::grin: or: Be sure to have tapwater in your reach???

I think I´ll stay with what we can get in Denmark.
