What is this music?

Hi everyone.

Came across this rather haunting video on youtube and was immediately taken in by the equally haunting opening music:

Sure it sounds a little bit 80s and some might say a bit too Miami Vice-ish but I love it and it's driving me nuts...!

Any help in putting me out of my misery is help greatly appreciated.

Actually the more I listen to it, I'm pretty sure that it's going to be a fairly well-known OST...certainly not anything obscure. And it wouldn't surprise me if it is actually from 'some kind of war movie or action drama either set in the East or with some kind of Eastern theme' lol....but god knows how, only this one totally escapes my memory...
