I am in a Cooking Mood. Does Denmark have a "traditional" Dish/Meal.?????? If so, what is it & can someone PLEASE give me the Recipe.....I await in Hunger & Anticipation.

Well, traditional Danish dish. Hmm: Stegt flæsk med persillesovs, Flæskesteg, forlorenhare, frikadeller,.. And cut someone translate that

It looks like "steak & something" and "Rabbit" but will wait till you come home and after a rest to translate

It is after Midnight here Now. so it is Now Tuesday 30th March. I have put on an "Aussie/Pamadu Meat Loaf" & will have that later. mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm Food.!!!

"stegt flæsk med persille sovs" = "bacon with parsley sauce" ,
"frikadeller" = "meat balls, fried",
"flæskesteg" = "roast pork" and
"hakkebøffer med løg" = "minced steak with onion"

Ah Ah Thanks Corno & Trebbien. mmmmmmmmm Danish Meat Loaf and also Bacon & Parsley Sauce sound like a good challenge. will go back to link and get a lot more things.
My "Aussie/Pamadu Style Meat Loaf" is Ready (not as good looking as the danish one in the link). I have the "muchies"...hehehe

that is a good sign,as i have not eaten well for the past few months. will have a day of cooking later....for now better get some

Not Good. The 'old boy' is still asleep after cooking all night.gave me the sack! bet he wants me to cook all that lovely 'laglace' desserts for his birthday on the 2nd.
I thought I would get away with 'Creamy Vanilla Icecream with LOADS of Caramel topping'. love the link that Corno gave,and will get into that.

Have ordered a Leg of Pork & will do that for him.

We are having Roast Pork over the Weekend. Can't wait for the Meatballs.

This Bacon & Parsley Sauce....I suppose we have to get Bacon (Schpeck) like the German Bacon.??????? or just get the butcher to cut Bacon "Thick".???????

"Hasselback" Potatoes ?????? with the Meat Loaf. We did just nice Boiled ones (Peeled not with skins on). hehehe

This is all enjoyable.....I have My appettite back again.A Very Good Sign that I will get to Denmark in October.

Tried a "sports cake" at the place a little year ago... My [censored] god... It eliminated my stamina, in a matter of nanoseconds. Tasted good though...

Have had Some NICE/BIG Steaks in CA....Have friends in "Turlock"...but that is in the Middle. BUT a Sacramento
