Thread titles

I can't seem to put words written in capital letters into a thread title. BWV, for example. It looked fine in the Post New Thread window but it changed to Bwv (see here and here) after I'd actually posted it. What am I doing wrong?

Mat,

You're doing nothing wrong ... even I couldn't change that title. After checking in the ACP, I found that the forum software, trying to safeguard people 'yelling' in thread titles, limits the capitalized letters to the first one in each word. Applies only to titles.

I'll check in my ACP and see if it can be safely changed.

Hm, it makes sense. But then, why does it safeguard only some people? Panos managed to get the BWV right (not that I'm all jealous). And other people in Electronic/Digital Organs forum, too. "Complete DYI MIDI pedalboard", for example.

Is it just me or the forum software is being unfair?

Good point, Mat ...

And what I found is that it applies to the first post in a new thread ... subsequent replies are not subject to that rule. I'll still see if it can be changed.
