Hello good people,

Nice to see another Forum about music - never enough of those.

I just joined so here are a few words of introduction:

I am (almost) 55 years old and I have been fortunate to live through the best period in the music history 1960's & 1979's, witnessing the things in real time.

I love music and have been involved with music since I can remember myself. During those many yeras I managed to be music journalist, writer, record producer, festival organizer, label owner and now I own and operate an on-line music shop (with the best music on the globe

of course).

I am fortunate to count some of the greatest musicians as my personal friends.

And yes, I was at Woodstock

Have fun and I'll see you around in the threads...

Glad to have you aboard and looking forward to see you around.
You are not the oldest person here

I know of a few in their sixties, but you are of course among those with a great experience regarding the world of music, and so I'm happy that you will share some of that experience with us here

Kind regards

Welcome Jazzis:
Well you have me beat by a couple years but I know something about garage bands, all the best instruments you can buy from a Sears catalog (including a guitar with an amp in the case), Mossrite guitars, Farfisa compact organs, aluminum drumsticks with nylon tips, demo tapes and battle of the bands.
Never had the opportunity to rub shoulders with the rich and famous. Reckon there's a reason for that.

Hope you enjoy Mr. Magle's forum.

I joined after you & must agree there are not enough music forums. Like you I have been involved in music all my life & thru the greatest period in music 50's & 60's. I went to the Royal College of Music in Glasgow Scotland back in 1952, had my own band called the Treble Clefs in the late 50's still play Keyboards & play at the Guitar

still gigging as part of a road show with my protege Tim Pitman a very talented young singer that I am trying to manage to the best of my ability with a very small amount of success although I did get him a spot with the Royal Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra at the prestigious Glastonbury Extravaganza in 2005 & also with the massed bands of the Royal Marines & Coldstream Guards at the Royal Birmingham Tattoo in November 2005 but as yet no record deal although there is a couple of small independant record companies looking at the moment who knows

. Anyway I digress the reason for my call is to make you happy & let you know that you are not the oldest anymore as I beat you by 9 years I'm 64 and I wouldn't mine betting that we are both just spring chickens as old muso's never die they merely fade away
