A spam-bot is an automated script (bot) that replies to a thread and posts spam in the shape of links to various sites - especially phamaceutical and pornographic content.

This particular kind of spambot is a very nasty new phenonomen and very hard to stop as it uses computers from all over the world, so when I block one site it just uses another. My theory is that it is possibly working as a virus that takes over vounerable computers (probably of the windows kind) and uses them to send out spam.
Anyhow, here's a list of IP addresses it has used so far to spam this site:
132.213.202.225 (November 22, 2004)
64.19.80.100 (November 15 - 18, 2004)
168.143.113.5 (November 5, 2004)
66.144.5.25 (October 23 - 24, 2004)
