thanks for replying Margaret!
i didn't know anything about camel maybe some time ago, and today i still know nothing but two studio albums and one live ( which is actually the live version of "the snow goose" ). if you like instrumental things, eerie musical landscape, beautiful melodies on guitar and keyboards and even some classical arrangements, you will like it.

I agree that Camel's The Snow Goose is a guitar driven scenic tour along the ups and downs of a cynical wave. I have long been of the opinion that they were not able to top their earlier work until I listened to Dust and Dreams.
The Snow Goose however remains both in my LP box as well as in my CD cases.

I used to play a song off this album, but I'd like to say,
that King Crimson was Jimi Hendrixs' favorite English band.
People were surprised to see him standing at the back of a club,
when they were playing.
It's not said if Jimi and Robert Fripp ever got together, but why not?
camel is spelled Camel. Hey, let me give you a real English and typing lesson,
because American online is dumbing down your language.
When you type sunwaiter's, that means "sunwaiter is".
You can say, sunwaiter's always saying that John Watt's the best guitarist he never heard.
When you type sunwaiters', that means "it's sunwaiters".
You can say, we're all going over to see sunwaiters' new DVD, John Watts' "The Epic Failstorm".
also out as a triple disc CD in a paper package. Unfortunately for sales, it was too recyclable.
# is not a slash, it's the sharp sign from music.
& isn't "and", it's an ampersand.
For old signs, using the ampersand instead of painting the word "and" between names,
it got fancy and used less space, but, where did it come from, oh yeah, the treble clef.
Even my 1954 portable electric typewriter has the @ up there, but I don't know the name.
The real name.
If you want to see a lot of camel action,
watch that George Clooney movie about Arabs in the desert,
when the Texans and British come gunning for the black pools on the surface.
In Canada, a lot of musicians not only listened to Camel, but smoked'em,
American cigarettes with a camel on the package.
Those were the kind of cigarettes, when, after you lit them, they smoked themselves.
I can hardly wait until you get into run-on sentences, for sure, I'm waiting, breathlessly, breathlessly, awaiting the waiting of the waiting of the waiting of our forums.
