Sigs

It seems like some of us are not having our sigs appended to our posts, any ideas?

I have checked that the "Show your signature" option is selected.

Just paged through a number of threads in different areas, looks to be fairly widespread and random, e.g. my sig appears on some posts but not others; also looks as though even very old posts have lost their sigs.

Sigs only appear on posts of 50 or more words. This is so because going through lots of one liner posts with multiple sig lines is tiring and a needless waste of database storage.

For subscribers (those who pay a monthly fee) it appears all the time.

For forum staff, it is an option for us to have it appear or not. I chose to have it appear on this one as it is 'official' forum business.

I think it was last Fall when that change was made, Mike ... mainly to combat spammers.

So we are now in a class system forum those who pay to belong and the plebs (us) ????
What other advantages are given to the "Subscribers" ??

We currently have several subscribers - scroll down to the bottom of this list.
Becoming a subscriber is entirely optional. But if one wants additional storage space and an increase in the amount of PM's they can store, it is a good deal.
