Well, John, we can always delete any posts that you object to; it's still your thread... you call the shots in here. :up:Sorry folks, I was tired of sharing - I wanted a thread all to myself. Just hope no-one ruins it for me ... mm ...
I'm not sure that doing the contrary of what one is told to do defines one as perverse. I hesitated to post in here, but found the thread too tempting; it's nature implied humour, and I'm not one to pass up an opportunity for a bit of fun. :banana:Immature? What does he mean? Rojo, thanks for the offer - but you can let the gatecrashers stay - so long as Mathetes brings his marbles back. I knew a "keep out" sign would be irresistibly inviting to certain (naturally perverse ) people. It's the same if you tell people not to look - they just have to. Once when I was driving my young nephew home from school I glanced across at him and was horrified to find he had fired up the car's cigar lighter and was holding it glowing red in his hand. "Don't touch!" I yelled, so he did of course, and burnt his finger. A child psychologist would probably have yelled "Touch it!" When I was at school myself our maths teacher told us there were 1728 cubic inches in a cubic foot (that dates me) but there was no need for us to remember that number. Needless to say, Ive remembered it ever since. People are perverse!

Well, why shouldn't he?Anyway why should you have a private thread?
But after what's happened in this one, maybe others will think twice before starting one.
Rojo's right. It was a stupid idea and I've learnt my lesson! (Mike's girlfriend made sure of that )
This thread has become very naughty. Shame on you Mike and John!!:scold:
One should really keep out.
Sorry, just couldn't resist...
