The Ice at the North Pole is melting more quickly than first thought and it will release Methane gas (bad for global warming) in huge quantities. Some say billions of tons.

If we survive:
The Moon is responsible for the weather that we enjoy on our Earth it stabilises the
Earth axis but the Moon is gradually moving further away when it gets 10% further away (approx another 25000 miles) the axis will be unstable and life will probably cease to exist.

If we get through this:
The Sun will eventually die part of this process will result in it becoming so large that it will engulf our planet.

We may by now have set up a colony on another Planet around another Star but.
Our Galaxy “Milky Way’ is about to collide with the‘Andromeda’ galaxy it is thought that they will simply pass through each other with only a few casualties
So the question is “do you feel lucky punk”

Looks like our first real challege on the list is the results of the events of Dec. 21, 1012 as that well may change alot of things we are used to having. even if 12/21/12 moves on ..the sea will expand and temp. will change and not for the good. Sometimes makes me glad I am older: and sad for the younger generations who have always had so many conviences that we grew up without. My Amish friends will do well as they do not allow all of our tv,radio,electricity, cars, phones etc. etc.

Do I feel lucky? I think so, but then I am not a punk.

Unfortunately these are events we have little control of, all I feel we can do is prepare. Not knowing exactly when it will happen, that makes it difficult.

I tend to feel that it will not happen in my lifetime, but I shall keep an interested eye on events.

And definitely not in mine. Anyway I can think of enough other things to worry about ... ... ... ... if I should feel like worrying that is.

Why 12/21/12? How about 12/12/12??? I'll await for the spectacle with a smile on my face - The whole charade is as funny as the clowns and obamabots running around D.C. thinking that they rule the world...:lol::lol::lol:
