Hello all,
My name is Gordon Mansell and I am a new member to this forum. I am an organist and music director at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Toronto, Ontario. The organ is a north German design Casavant tracker built in 1965. Peter Hurford has recorded his finest Bach interpretations on this organ. I am also the exclusive Ontario dealer for Allen Organ Company, the world's largest organ builder with over 80,000 successful installations of digital and digital-pipe organs. One of my favourite recordings of Peter Hurford and a point of serious reference, is the one of Buxtehude works in 1983 for Decca in this fabulous Lady of Sorrows organ ! What a surprise !
