about this forum, we don't have many (if any) of the type that read the first few words of a post and immediately start a reply to those words and ignore any subsequent words or phrases and change the complete sense of the thread.

I started a thread on a model railway forum about the lack of certain items that I had been searching for; I got about 10 replies with suggestions totally irrelevant to my query, to which I responded with a rather pointed sort of "read all that I wrote before you start with unrelated drivel" talk about a lead balloon!! Quite a few suggested that I contact X Y or Z and order custom made items - yeah on a pension with a mortgage, loadsa dosh spare for custom orders, which I had mentioned as one of my provisos in my original post.

It's almost like somebody on this forum enquiring about cheap notation software and getting a load of responses about every posters favourite top of the range package, completely ignoring the word Cheap!

Gosh golly I really don't know what to say Mike, I have a limited concentration span and can't get past the first few words but if you are looking for something in partic try to ignore all post words and go on logic then if the colour is right get another opinion you can't have to many suggestions, if I have helped in any way give a thumbs up or something then I will know we are on the right track as it is very annoying to go too far down the wrong road only to finish up being abused for trying to help in a small but insignificant way.

Some posters use too many words "Verbal Diarrhea" when posting as I did in my post above #2
I should have typed (wtf..........) and nothing more

Its not just forums Mike. A number of times I have written or e-mailed people about specific matters and received back a completely unassociated reply. ???????????????????????????

I have just experienced the opposite I ask for advice on a certain subject and get answers dealing with everything except the question that I asked??? perhaps I should write in Double Dutch ,
