New Harry Potter Film

Anyone else seen it?? I went to see it yesterday (day off school - YAY!) and I thought it was brilliant!!

I have seen the new Harry Potter film, and I liked very much... It was the best of all the movies their have been with Harry Potter..

Don't know what went wrong, because I have not been to the cinema for nearly two years.. But when a friend asked me if I would like to see the new Harry Potter I said yes..

I've seen it too, and I thought it was great. Much better than the last one, which I thought was just alright But I think I liked the first movie the most, as I just love all the quirky little shops in Diagon Alley and all the other fun stuff we're introduced to.

Yeah, I watshed a program on the making of it, some of the stuff they use!!! Did you know that to do the great hall up for the ball, they covered the entire place in a type of shiny fabric!!

Yeah, I thought the movie was good, Wow fabric, for the Ballroom, damn, that would have cost so much money. I love the special effects, and the music *winks*.

The music was awesome, I love march music, that also looked like Hermoine on the timpani, she might have played that part as well.

I didn't really see - but you never know!! What did anyone think of their dancing?? I thought it was pretty good but then at the moment I'm very into dance from Strictly Come Dancing (I think similar to Dancing with Stars in the US and Australia). Oh and my friend really made me laugh. You know the part where Dumbledore's saying to Harry "Did you or did you not put you're name in the Goblet of Fire?" and you get a close-up on Harry she leans over to me and goes "He has really thick eyebrows!" And both of us were in hysterics!!!

Ok then, I didn't quite catch that, but the dancing was good, I love how they were playing the Classical music, with that short stumpy man as the conductor, and then the rock music suddenly kicked in and he was crowd surfing, but what was your favourite part of the movie anyway? Mine was oooooo, hard to think, there were so many!!!

But anyway, way better than the other ones, and particulary better than the previous one, that one was just stupid.

Sorry I was kind of babbling. And I loved the music at the very start, all triplety and kind of minor. It was very cool.

I've just been to see it again with the rest of my family!!! Did anyone else notice the electric double bass in the rock band at the ball?? It was sooooooooo cool!!!

Yeah the minor music really depicted the emotions set, that was good directing there, I didn't see the electric double bass....then again, I prolly don't get what it might look like

Does John Williams still score the HP movies ?

I thought he ripped off his own Home Alone score for the HP theme, that really annoyed me. But overall quite an enjoyable score (and movies as well).

The last Harry Potter (The Goblet of Fire) movie was scored by Patrick Doyle. There's no indication of whether Williams will make the score for Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. On www.imdb.com he's only mentioned with regards to the (previously written) themes.

I absolutely loved the score....it had such depth and good contrasting effect.
