A grand Christmas locally ... no snow, but it did rain on Christmas Eve and the local mountain ranges have snow above the 4,000' level. Tucson is at 2,388' elevation (considered the high desert) so the snow isn't that far away. We are surrounded by four mountain ranges.
Wife and I shared a different kind of gift giving this year ... we both have most everything we will ever need and it has become more difficult to "buy" for each other, so this year we decided to use the system my parents had in their later years. We establish a dollar limit and buy something for ourselves and then wrap and gift it to the other. Of course my wife has absolutely no use for the gift I gave her (and vice versa) so she then gifts it to me and vice versa.
