Yes a merry xmas and a happy new year, you should have seen the childish reactions to this same thread by the none Christians on GMG :shake: people are so argumentative on line but I bet they keep their traps closed in real life face to face situations.

Yup. And anytime the non Christians no longer have need for their dollar bills imprinted with "In God We Trust" I will be more than happy to have them donated to me.

Reminds me of a local furniture shop owned by a very religious man and a real good type, above the counter was a notice "In God we trust all others cash"

A grand Christmas locally ... no snow, but it did rain on Christmas Eve and the local mountain ranges have snow above the 4,000' level. Tucson is at 2,388' elevation (considered the high desert) so the snow isn't that far away. We are surrounded by four mountain ranges.

Wife and I shared a different kind of gift giving this year ... we both have most everything we will ever need and it has become more difficult to "buy" for each other, so this year we decided to use the system my parents had in their later years. We establish a dollar limit and buy something for ourselves and then wrap and gift it to the other. Of course my wife has absolutely no use for the gift I gave her (and vice versa) so she then gifts it to me and vice versa.

We gave up on presents years ago, sad really but there you go.
