Hello Magle Forum :)

I've started posting some videos on youtube of me singing. It's all in my completely natural voice, no warm up (oops) and sitting down (tsk tsk) but I was hoping you guys would give me your honest, but constructive opinion anyways. :)

Nice song, nice presentaion.
Have you had any coaching on your breathing which will also help your projection? This might take you up another gear and also help with confidence.
Keep going. There are lots of songs which would suit your image and voice. I will dig some up for you.

That would be wonderful Teddy, I am always having trouble finding good song choices. :) I have had a bit of coaching but not a whole lot. I can project better than I do in those recordings, right now my trouble is partly that the microphone on the camera is pretty bad with loud noises so I have to hold back, and that tension isn't good for my confidence when singing :)

Lovely voice, but I suggest you remain still when you're recording and look at the camera at all times, due to the fact that the quality of You Tube is basically crap, you'll end up with less jigging and zigging about, very nice young lady.-

as it is I am looking to join a band where I can write and perform songs, but I prefer to do it as a group, I don't think I'm strong enough as a writer on my own yet. Thanks a bunch for your kind words.

I'll try that out next time, thanks so much. Right now I just need to get my webcam and hopefully my mic to work on my new software :/

Here is my first review on this site.
Miss Buttercup
Your voice fits your profile name. Very easy on the ears. Intonation is good. Annunciation is good. All the qualities of a good pop rock singer are there.
What is even better about the video is that it is that the audio is unprocessed to give complete transparency to what is there. I would be curious to what your voice sounds like in a studio. I would recommend that you go to Kompoz.com or Indabamusic.com to collaborate with other musicians and producers if you want to go further with your talents.
