I had a stone. I had a big stone. I carried it along the Lake Erie shore and up off the beach.
The fossils were speaking to me, and I wanted to bring them home.
It was a deep stone, ancient mud that was compressed by a two mile deep glacier,
and the echoes of life that it carried were shapes of coral that isn't life here any more.
I just came back to watch and listen... and it made me remember my deep stone.
I should have a big stone for you... a deep red ruby...
