sorry I am not qualified to reply to this as I am not a fan of much contemporary works at all. Never really understood the harmonic/structure of the compositions as I leave that to the new generations. I can tell it took a lot of hard work to compose which I admire. Take care

I am in the same situation, sorry. I have tried to get to grips with this type of music but it does nothing for me.

I'm not sure what you mean by this type of music.
How would Ian Moore describe it?
And for me, contemporary works just means new music, not a genre.
Did he use a theramin? That always brings the teslage out in me.
Now I'm thinking, yeah, everyone here got zapped and don't like to admit it.

I would suggest that you get your sound problem fixed and then have a wee listen.
