Ever heard of Mack the Knife? That was a pop song inspired by mozart.
This is the only one that I know of unless you want to count Song Sung
Blue by Neil Diamond.

Dear Ms. Judy ;)

I am afraid I´m gonna disappoint you. Please go to this link below, and you´ll see the komponist/composer who composed it. I can´t say if he thought of Mozart, though? Can you? If you remember the movie "The Blues Brothers". There is a great musical jazz/blues edition of this song "Mack The Knife" in the movie. Certainly not a POP song.

Why is it that pop musicians today typically have high voices? You don't see many lower voiced pop singers, you have Brad Roberts, Till Leiderman, Josh Tuner, who else? I can not singing a pop song because my voice has such a thick texture to it. I can attain a breathy tone only with a rasp in the high register or sounding very weak in the lower register. Why is it so?

This concert caught my attention from today's TV schedule... (below is my take on it :))

It's from 2006 and features a mix of jazz, pop and classical musicians interpreting Mozart's compositions. I'm most intrigued by the promise of improvised sets. Has anyone seen this before?
YEs, I have seen that when I was in Florida Gulf Coast, I really loved it........thanks for recalling it man.... cheers buddy.....

I like when there can be a cross over of music. I've been listening to a artist that kind of does that called Adrina Thorpe. I think that she has the ability to tell a story through her music while making a simple melody that is easy to listen to and helps me relax. Tell me if you agree.

I was jamming a little Mozart today myself.
When I was getting a seeds and nuts package and a juice at the gas bar,
out there on a long distance bike-hike,
there was a box with cassettes for sale.
I got "Classical Treasures, Mozart, A Little Night Music", for $1.
So I'm jamming that into my deck right now.
Listening to Mr. Magle's video in the hanger was my favorite music yesterday.
