I sold a tune as a ring tone!

I've been pushing my compositions lately, trying to get something sold somehow so putting all my eggs in different baskets. Thought I'd let people know about one that panned out. I sold a mix as a ring tone on a site called OffSpot, (http://offspot.com/Default.aspx) basically they are a mobile content site where you can buy or sell ring tones, wallpapers, animation, etc. Kind of cool that you can support independent artists anbd musicians this way, and hey, I sold something.

Whoa dude, congrats! I don't know what songs are selling for as ringtones, but it sounds awesome!

I thought I heard somewhere that the most money going back to copyright owners is phone ringtones, anyone have any more info on this?

Maybe they need ringtone publishing companies!:grin:
