How to download "Red Shoes" from Danish Website?

My old Columbia LP of Easdale's "The Red Shoes" that I bought in the early 60s is so scratchy and filled with pops that it's become unlistenable. So I've been searching around on the web for a CD or digital download of that piece.

I did locate some British web sites that do have it available as a digital download, but they aren't allowed to sell to customers in the U.S.:(

I found what appears to be a Danish site that offers a digital download of the recording, but I don't understand Danish so I can't figure out how order it.

Is there anyone reading this who reads Danish who could look at the web site and check to see if they allow downloads to customers in the U.S.?

P.S. I should probably have included the details of the particular recording I'm searching for:

My old LP is on the Columbia Masterworks label:


  • Record number: MS 6028 (Released 1958?)
  • St. Louis Symphony Orchestra
  • Vladimir Golschmann, Conductor

The liner notes say: "The score of the ballet was used in the English film The Red Shoes."

But, as it turns out, the performance I'm looking for is not actually a soundtrack recording, but apparently an orchestral suite comprised of music from the ballet .

On IMDB, I found this note on the actual soundtrack performance: "Performed by Royal Philharmonic Orchestra (as The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra)"

But the recording I'm hunting for is the one I've been listening to for the last 40 or so years.
