I guess you are right. Blowing anything up is fun. Especially when your practicing that not-so-easy concerto and it's getting on your nerves. Then you get out the Elephant gun....

heh, so are you playing anything interesting at the moment?

Our band is playing Poet and the Peasant. Lovely piece actually. And, being that time of year, we are also doing numerous Christmas pieces. One, actually, with a horn solo. I'm first, so I had to play it. It's beautiful, don't get me wrong, but rather difficult.

you gotta practise every day - but no more than 10 minutes per "lesson" so you won't wear yourself out...
