I would like to introduce myself. I joined today. I must admit that I have been "lurking" for some time. In case Krummhorn thinks he may have heard of me before, he would be correct as I used to post occasionally on the other site, Talk-Classical. I have enjoyed classical music since a very young age. I once learned the piano but I haven't kept it up seriously. My tastes in classical music are quite wide, ranging from Monteverdi through to Shostakovich. I have a special interest in Bach, Handel, Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven, Schubert, Schumann, Chopin, Mendelssohn, Brahms. I'm not generally interested in contemporary classical music, although I have no problems with the more accessible examples of it.
