Do any of you have trouble with your back hurting or something going
numb. My teeth look like they belong to a hockey play because they
are so snagled with two of them missing. Last monday I mentioned in
one of the threads that I had a toothache. Tell me about it.

I have constant rotator cuff (shoulder) pain ... take meds for it and it relieves about 70% of the pain, the rest I just put up with and grimace and at the same time try to smile.
This is fairly common for keyboard musicians - affects other people differently, and some not at all.

When the weather gets damp or when it's raining, the meds act like a placebo and
I just have to grin and bear it - even when playing on Sunday mornings ... once it was so bad I was literally in tears at the end of the church service. But the show must go on ... it's quite impossible to find a sub organist 3 hours before the services on Sunday morning.

Now Ms. Judy

If we´re going to remain friends, I urge you on my crying knees - PLEASE, PLEASE to lose any thoughts of a reasonable friendly conversation about the scrutinating pain due to toothache and these horrible sadistic anti-humans - dentists.

I rather like my dentist ... he's a very devout Mormon - he's never hurt this devout Lutheran after he learned that I have played the Tabernacle Organ in SLC, Utah .

I have had trouble with my teeth since I was a kid with braces. So be
careful if you have braces or your kid has braces. My gums I don't
think really set after they came off. Now the dentist says I have the
kind of gum disease that distroy teeth? I saw the xray myself and I
saw something else. A calcium defecienty. Oh well I can't spell it.
The bones in my skull were also thin. As for my back problem is a
unique one. I have what they polinided cyst problem.

Master Krummhorn

When I saw your picture earlier today, I almost fell on the floor with surprice. Now my friend are you quite sure, you don´t have any unknown father(-s) in Denmark, I mean the picture of you could easely be me, except for the fact that I am balled on my head and probably 48 pounds lighter than you on the picture.

But honestly Master Krummhorn, the physical facial resemblence is there. How tall are you?

I have a toothache now and can't afford a dentist at the moment. So I
will just have to live with it until next month.

My drivers license claims I'm 6' 5" - Paternal Grandfather was born in DK, my parents were born in US.

Ouch, that's gotta be most uncomfortable ... I used to put some whiskey or bourbon on an ear swab and dab it onto my son's teeth when he was cutting new ones ... it deadens the pain rather quickly.

I didn't take care of my teeth as I should have as a kid ... so, now half the teeth I have in my head are not mine ... :smirk:

Ouch I feel for anyone with toothache.

A good way to ease the pain is to rub clove oil on the tooth. I have tried it and it does work.

Dentists. Of course you wise guys have already guessed, I had one of these most unfortunately childhood experiences, while at the hot chair at the dentist´s.

The results was, I pussed him away (9 years of age) a little hard, so he fell on his behind. Then I went straight back to my class room and sat on the chair with blood running from my mouth - like Count Dracula, while the whole bunch of children and my teacher saw the blood running from my mouth, but were some how paralysed.

The dentist by mistake I guess, drilled into my gums instead of the tooth that had been anaesthetizised.

I guess I must have been a hard case to crack for any psycologist, I still hate going to the dentist, so I brush my teeth twice a day or every time I have a meal, scared for the day when I feel a toothache again.

I know it´s rediculous for a grown man and father, but I would rather swim among Great White´s than paying a regular half-yearly visit to the dentist.

In fact thinking about it, my new avatar could symbolise this kind of incident.

oh judy, i can only empathize as i also have a frequent toothache because i cannot afford to bring it to the dentist so my tooth be pulled out so no more aching tooth to worry about.

take calcium/magnesium (combination, as magnesium is what makes the calcium gets absorbed) to strengthen your bones and teeth.

i hate dentists too...rather, i'm excited to be with them :D

when i was about 14 i had one of my molars removed by the father of my stepdad who was a 70-yo dentist at that time. the roots of my teeth are very strong and curves much that it takes so much effort to remove just one. my molar had cavities on top but as an old dentist with old technology, the only solution was to pull it out. thrice i had to suffer the needle and the anesthesia did not work well. while it was being extracted someone had to help him pull back while someone had to hold my head down. that was my worst dental experience i almost feared any dentist.

You know, it figures correctly about all the pain dentists seem to inflict on people .. it was, after all, a dentist who invented the Electric Chair ... Believe it or not!!

[Edit: For those who are interested, wikipedia has this info about the invention of Electric Chair.]

Do you want know something amazing? My bad tooth quit hurting.
I guess it's finally dead. It doesn't hurt! The only thing bothering me now
is this small headache. I have them quite a bit. I don't know if it is that
tooth or eye strain. Do any of you have muscle problems
with spasims or twitching?

There you go Master Krummhorn

Now, why am I not one bit surpriced?. Figures, of course a dentist who invented the Electric Chair, according to the sadistic gene by birth, natural for dentists.
You made my day Master Krummhorn.:clap::clap::clap::banana::banana::banana::banana::trp::trp::trp::trp::lol::lol::lol::lol:

Hi Krummhorn, I can sympathise with you on the shoulder pain. I get a pain in my left shoulder after around 1 - 2 hours playing.
Gotta see a physio when I can get round to it!.
