"Hancock" unknown song

Hi there, I regged recently simply because I grew tired of wandering through google, so I was thinking maybe some of ya old pro's can help me?

Ok, so it's about the Hancock movie (music by John Powell). I found the score (20 tracks in total), aswell as this link http://www.reelsoundtrack.com/index.php?act=movie_details&id=46928 which contains most of the songs...but I cannot find what I seek. And its exactly there: As Hancock takes control over the bank and becomes real hero, he and his friends go out for the night and arrive at "Cafe Pinot", where they are being expected by a big crowd...there's some nice music, which I couldn't find anywhere...

So I challenge you to find something about this music, because I believe for myself I can find almost anything on google and I failed on this one... :)

Hello Mannoroth

Welcome to the forum, glad you could join us.

I haven't seen the movie, perhaps someone else has.

welcome to the site., I have not seen the movie.. but from the way you describe it I wonder if it might not be just a "filler or transition piece" and not a song as such.

Hi Mannoroth :)

Welcome to the forum, btw ...

The movie soundtrack listing can be found on IMDB. Only those listed were scored for possible sale.

Not all music used in a movie will be always available for purchase or download simply because of copyright laws or royalty fees that must be paid to performers in some cases.

Thanks for the answers! As you can see I am still green in this area but at least it's comforting that I was unable to find this "theme" or whatever, because it's just probably just "transition piece" as mentioned above.

I'll stick around for some more interesting topics... :)

It sounds like one of the boogies done during the late 70's. I remember
this music well. When the soundtrack mentioned Freddy Fender it rang
a real bell for me. This movie wasn't no fiction. It happened. Any of
us who lived in the USA during the late 70's I know where this piece of
film was from. Remember "Midnight Special" with Wolfman Jack on
television? Those were the day! The piece sounds like a version of
"Say What".
