Guess the composer (CQuiz)

Hello!

Let me introduce you a "Guess the composer" game CQuiz, created by me:

You need to register first (large blue link on the first page).


You can play in one of the common modes (Easy, Normal, Hard, Insane) or choose any composers that you want for the quiz. For example, you can choose only Bach and Handel and try to guess. After each of your questions system will show you correct answer and information about the piece, that was played.


Easy mode includes 15 greatest composers, Normal mode adds 35 known composers and so on. You can change your mode from the Preferences tab.


Ratings makes competition interesting.

Hi! I added photos to all composers.
Now when choosing composer you can train your visual memory too.

I went 17 questions in Normal difficulty. I only averaged 52%. :( But I did get at least 76% in the correct time period. I should have done better.
Very cool quiz. I might recommend this to my teaching colleagues who work with high school students. I work with middle school (12-14 year olds) so it might not be too useful for them other than exposure to names, faces, time periods and styles (wait...that's actually pretty useful).

It's okay, Colin ... you have every right to be upset. This same user posted the identical thread on our sister forum, Talk Classical ... same result there as well.

I've removed the link and notified the user - requesting updated URL if one is available, until then, this thread is closed to further input.
