Makes my little 2 litre diesel look a bit underpowered. Many rears ago I saw a mini pickup with a 31/2 litre engine mounted in the back. Rear wheel drive it was built for hill climbing. Can't remember what the power to weight ratio was but I believe it would pull 130 mph in 2nd gear.

I recall a friend in the RAF who had a Lotus Europa coming in to work one morning complaing that he had been unable to keep up with a Ford Corsair except on cornering, he finally caught up with it one morning at a road junction and was shown under the bonnet (hood) a 5.5L V8; another recollection was a Ford Classic convertible fitted with a 3.5L V8, the owner said "it gets a bit light on the steering at 115MPH" !!!!!!!!!
