Just wondering, is anyone familiar with the 70`s song Hokus Pokus by the Dutch group Fokus? I really like it- cool, and funny.

Couldn`t find anywhere one could listen to it, and I don`t have it. One can read reviews of Focus`s music at amazon, but no free listen.

With Thijs van Leer and the famous dutch gitarist Jan Akkerman... Thijs also played along with Ayreon on his "Into the electric castle" album. Great album from another great Dutch artist/band/concept.

maybe, if you like focus, you could try listening to Ekseption too. Ekseption is also a progressive rock band from the early 70's (and also Dutch).

Ayreon is also a fantastic band/concept. Maybe u've heard about it. It's not Focus and it's not early 70's prog symphonic rock, but I think it's wurthwhile to listening to it.

I have this album, its very good. Focus are a great band, you may also want to try Focus III as another solid album from Focus.

"FOCUS" and "HOCUS POCUS" when published in English and yes I think there is a stream of it somewhere I'll try to find the site and drop you it. Some of this bands work has been criticised, it has been called "documentary film music" and the like. :confused: :confused: :confused:
Shocking when you think they pre-date Tangerine Dream using basically acoustic instruments.
