Hello All,

I recently saw the movie *Factory Girl* with Guy Pearce and Sienna Miller.

I piece of music caught my ear but i cant seem to track it down. The music is played when Edie (Sienna) is on the back of the motorcyle with her arms out, letting the wind blow over her. Its also repeated at the end when Andy Warhol (Guy Pearce) says his last words of the movie before the credits roll,

any help would be appretiated.

Thanks

Hello Trick SEE

O.k. This is the entire list of songs on the movie. Some are available on I-Tunes others are archived and need searching for. But The one you are looking for is "Red Ballon" by Tim Hardin.

Good flick but not enough background about Warhol was put into it. Poor girl dead at 28.

I hope this helps you out.

Kindest regards,
Mic1

Good movie, the real Edith is much more prettier though, Guy Pierce played Andy very well, but made him out to be not that amazing as the past media has, Edith was a poor little rich girl, sad, sad story.

I want to know too. It's not the Tim Hardin song. It's the one without lyrics. It's so beautiful. I call it Edie's theme. Been looking for it everywhere but haven't been able to find it. Can someone help us?

What about that bit when she's stoned and about to pass out?
What was that music?
It's really popular actually, I've heard it many times in the past- just never known the name...

Actually, the Velvet Underground song that was playing (although it was a cover...not sure by whom) was "Heroin", not "Venus in Furs"

The song played during the credits is a Nick Drake song called "Day is Done". Glad I could put my obscure music knowledge to some use.

It seems this is a very late post, but I thought I'd say that NONE of the songs in the film are by the Velvet Underground. They're meant to be imitations, because VU would not allow their music to be used. The movie caused a lot of controversy among people involved in Edie Sedgwick's life, which is why there is NO NO NO VU music, Bob Dylan music, etc.
