Hi everyone,

I just wanted to let you know that it's been 21th December for about ten minutes here in my time zone and I'm still fairly alive

I will try to keep you updated, should anything change.

Good luck to all who are still waiting for the end of the world to come.

Have a great day!

And let me know how you're all doing.

Yours sincerely,
Mat

I only worry about natural disaster when the planets begin to return to their places again..not the end but maybe a mess...

Just because some old calendar only went up to today means nowt; if that was the case our calendars only go up to Dec 31st, but the world hasn't ended each year.

The Jehovah's Witnesses predicted the end of the world in 1878, 1881, 1914, 1918, 1925 and 1976. They are one of many

Then there was Harold Camping ...

I'm still here in Arizona ... those in Australia are still around, too - it would have already ended there, which brings up another subject:

How could the "world" not end in one country and supposedly end in another? Seeing as how Australia is still around, the whole 'end of the world' stuff is total hogwash.

Even the Myan's themselves have debunked it ...
Today, the Maya long calendar is 13.0.0.0 ... tomorrow it will be 13.0.0.1 - just like it was when it went from 11.9.9.9 to 12.0.0.0

I will be here tomorrow (Saturday) ... and so will everyone else.

Too many people have swilled the radioactive Kool-Aid dispensed by the Jackboots-on-the-Potomac...So sad that so many fell for the practical joke of the Century...

Well I am definitely still here. I want to know how Mat would have updated us if the world had ended, is he taking his laptop with him?

I wonder how many people drowned their sorrow in booze since the Earth did not disintegrate? Must've been quite a few...

It is highly questionable to attach so much creedance to prognostications made by a civilization that perished so long ago...I don't know if I'd want to have an employee who runs around with such thoughts in their head...really unstable individuals...

Actually saw an entire family madly packing their car on Friday afternoon ... I had to ask what was going on ... their reply:

The world is ending and we are driving away ...

I had to urge to ask "and just where are you driving too?", but decided not, just in case I got the giggles with whatever response I would have gotten.

Same thing happened many many years ago ... in the early 1960's ... I was campaigning the local neighborhood for new church members, and encountered a family madly packing up the car ... and the said the same thing about 'driving away'. I would have liked to have been there the next day and asked if they enjoyed their trip.

Glad we are still here ... something that I predicted "would" happen when I first heard of this crock of the world ending.

I have lost count of the number of predicted worlds ends I have lived through. It certainly becomes a bit of a yawn after the first few.
