Chevalier de St. George - Keyboard Charts?

Hi and thanks for this opportunity,

  1. Anyone know where I can find charts for music of Joseph Boulogne aka Chevalier de St. George?
  2. One place I read said there was no ornamentation on his charts, so second question: for me to play correctly in style, would studying Mozart ornaments be correct? (enough?)

Thanks googols!

Some links to St. George sites:

I assume you`ve tried all the sheet music sites?

And using standard classical ornamentation should probably work.

Still looking! Any leads? THANKS!!!!

I assume you`ve tried all the sheet music sites?

Every one! Well, since you mentioned it, a few

The story goes, he was unknown completely until the 90s, our 90s... also sometimes he's under Chevalier de St. George, or his father's name Joseph Boulogne, or Mozart Noir...

Do you have a list of all the sheet music sites? I just googled and found a few, only one had one score, not for piano.

Thanks ever so much for you answer and suggestions though! Wishing you the very best!

Love and LIGHT BEING, Teo ;) ;)

ps if this works, a link to Amazon.com samples: RecsRadio?

I've heard some (not many) of his works but thought him a very talented composer. I'd like to hear more myself! Thanks Teo!

These are still in-process, meaning NOT FINISHED! But... nice material, and nice ideas - I "solo" or improvise/impromptu over a sort of simple Ab Major section, you'll hear it... enjoy!

I'm going to try and attach the files as well. Funny, I put words on songs ... not sure why, helps me learn them? Anyway, on this they are: "I-- shake my sword, if you don't watch out... you'll get gored!" he he.. Hey, he was the greatest swordsman or Chevalier! Had a 1000 man army! Anyway, now you can HEAR MORE huh?

Oh, the whole tone dominant play and resolutions is .. mine.. the song, "Adagio" is amazing though, huh? Doesn't sound like something from BEFORE Beethoven huh? Sounds almost MODERN! I find it inspiring!

peace
