Hello!
This is my first post here, and I have been on a quest to learn the original sources (movies, composers, etc.) for soundtracks that were "borrowed" in 1970s to 1980s-era martial arts films from Hong Kong/Taiwan, etc.
Here are two to start off with:
1.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7uzPF3ynil0&sns=em
This sounds like it could be from an early-1960s sword and sandal epic, or possibly an italian western(?).
2.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F80FzlAGSFY&sns=em
The actual track begins @ 0:58. It sounds to me like possibly an Italian western, or maybe a war movie(?).
Any help with identifying these is most appreciated!
