Hi and thanks for the opportunity to ask,
Obviously an examination can ask whatever it wants. Somehow I don't think these questions are correct though:
Of Mozart K457 1st movement which is here:
http://imslp.org/wiki/Piano_Sonata_No.14_in_C_minor,_K.457_(Mozart,_Wolfgang_Amadeus)
The exam asks for the key at measure 75, well C Major? Or dominant of F minor?
The key at measure 77, boy! Mid transition between keys! Bb minor for 2 beats, then E° for 2, but in 2 bars it all goes to F minor.. but to answer what key at measure 77.. I see no measure numbers in the files so I just copied and uploaded this graphic starts at measure 75, the development:
The key at measure 75, C Major is my guess. But Measure 77?!? It seems like all dominant (vii chord) of F minor, but that's looking ahead. Looking just at Measure 77 doesn't give you that, looking ahead to F minor in 79 does.
I'm considering asking for them to review if their questions are actually answerable. Does this sound reasonable?
Thanks for your time
