A progressive rock fan and drummer here

Hello, all:

I'm obviously new to this fine website. I live in Los Angeles, California; was born and raised here. I have been a drummer for over 30 years and enjoy progressive/art rock music (but, I'm just a fan of good songs). I especially enjoy bands that write music that falls under the "progressive" theme, but really are just good sounding songs and not merely excercises in musician-dexterity.

I look forward to many stimulating discussions.
