A Cucumber and its many uses

I thought this would be an interesting subject as the uses that the humble Cucumber can be put to are many I will start the ball rolling with the Cucumber Sandwich, this was a staple lunch for me when I worked and so very tasty with a little vinegar and pepper as seasoning it just hit that magic spot, true a little indigestion was sometimes felt. now have you any suggestions ????

It has many uses.. eases eye strain and bags under the eyes if applied as a slice on the area, good for skin, great pickles, relish,will relieve itching when applied to the skin area, to name a few

I have seen ladies using two slices of it to protect the more sensitive areas of the body when sunbathing topless.

Cucumber, sliced red onions and tomato, with red wine vinegar ... a potluck favorite around here any time of the year.

My Scottish grandparents would slice onions up and let them sit in malt or white vinegar for a few days in the fridge,
a kind of side dish.

Here in Canada it's December the 18th,
and I'm still picking radishes and carrots from my garden.
