Evolution Tower is that because it resembles the DNA model?
I also notice it has a left hand thread and at about 250 metres in height would be approx 8tpk (threads per kilometre) as near as I can judge. Have not worked out if it is Whitworth or ANC.
Do the elevators follow the thread or do they cheat and go straight up and down. Is there any plan to make a Nut for this wonderful building.
You will have to excuse me comrade I am just being a smart ass it looks great.
Kommissar Kolin,
Yep, it is a 3D Double-Helix DNA Pattern
I don't consider you being a smart ass - Don't worry, mate:cheers:
It is a common-core in the building centre. What my wife and I are intrigued by is that every successive floor is "shifted" 3 degrees from the previous one(135 degrees total). The structure is so elegant - Like a man and a woman executing a very intimately active whirling Tango - Torso to torso, hip to hip, legs to legs, feet to feet. Gosh, excuse me but I find the building erotic in the extreme.
If I were asked to critique the structure...Well, I find it extremely difficult to say anything even remotely terse...Ok?
Well, now I could say two things: The building should have had one full 360 degree rotation relative to ground level(for reason of symmetry, imo)...That might work out to be 120 floors total above ground level(if we hypothesize using 360/3...The building should be both office space and condominiums e.g. bottom 60 floors for offices and upper 60 floors for condominiums. The Willis Tower(formerly Sears Tower) in Chicago, Illinois was built as office/condominium complex...It has huge swimming pool on the 47th floor, between the office section below it and the condominium section above it.
